Amazing invention from an animatronics from the city of Hampshire, England. The inventors named Matt Denton makes spider robot about the size of heavy equipment.
Six-legged robotic spider dubbed as "Mantis" can be driven from within the cockpit.
For Matt, the owner of the Micromagic animatronics company, creating Mantis is not a job that is fairly difficult. Considering he had often create small-scale animatronic robots.
The difference, this time Matt create a robot that moved from the outside, whereas this time he created a robot that can be driving yourself from the cockpit.
Although Matt is an expert in his field, it turns out the time it takes to create Mantis fairly long, almost reaching 4 years. Not to mention the hundreds of thousands of pounds needed for its development costs.
Mantis is known to have the weight of 1.9 tons, 2.8 meters high, and the total diameter of approximately 5 meters. As for the sixth move its feet, Matt Perkins diesel engines rely powered 2200 cc 20-liter fuel tank.
